short hand summary -
at a young age yuuki was found by kuran kaname after almost being killed by a rogue level e vampire and brought to cross kaien, who took her in and raised her.
she met kiryuu zero after he was orphaned by a vampire attack.
they grew up and became the prefects of the "day class", protecting them rom the "dangerous" and "alluring" night class that cross academy have. the night class are vampires, and the dorm leader is none-other than yuuki's long friend and "special person" kuran kaname.
